MASHFFF was awarded £24k from the Department of Energy & Climate Change, via the Local Energy Assessment Fund, which is managed by a consortium of community networks administered by the Energy Saving Trust.

We worked with this company to deliver energy audits on 12 Ashburton properties, including homes and community buildings within and outside of the Conservation Area. Anahat Energy is a fully independent energy efficiency & renewable energy consultant. Anahat Energy combine backgrounds in energy management, renewable energy engineering and investment finance to ensure clients develop energy reduction and renewable energy projects that are both technically and financially feasible.

DNPA’s  specialist officers (planners and historic building officers) are actively involved in this process, helping in the review of the energy audits and in developing recommendations to make homes more energy efficient and Fit For the Future  while  respecting Ashburton’s important heritage and townscape.
